Dispensary Manager

Full Time

You will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our Dispensary Team, ensuring that we deliver a safe, efficient and patient-focused dispensing service.

Supported by our Dispensary Team Leaders, you will be responsible for our large team of dispensers providing services from five dispensaries within our GP surgeries.  This is a new role which will suit an experienced dispenser seeking to an opportunity to utilise their leadership and management skills.

You will ensure the smooth running of our dispensary function and will be a key member of our management team.  You will be responsible for ensuring that our multi-site dispensaries function collaboratively as a single unit and for maximising dispensary profitability.  You will work closely with managers of other teams to contribute towards the overall aims and objectives of the practice.

To be successful in this role you will be a qualified dispenser with experience of managing a team.  You will have an established track record in day to day operational management of a dispensary or pharmacy and be able to demonstrate sound understanding of how to achieve efficient processes and maximise income.

We are a large rural practice with over 35,000 patients.  As a single-practice Primary Care Network, we have a wonderful opportunity to transform care for our patients.  We operate from 7 locations across Holderness and you must also be willing to travel between sites as necessary. Our hard-working and dedicated team includes 24 GPs, an extensive multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals and a great patient services team.

Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Part Time – Full Time

Band 8a equivalent, depending upon experience

We are seeking to recruit an ACP with an independent prescribing qualification and who is looking for their next career development opportunity. Experience of managing acute illness would be very welcome but we are keen to hear from all ACPs who have relevant skills transferable to Primary Care.

We are the largest GP practice in the East Riding and are seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team on either a full time or part-time basis.

We have the scale, diversity and breadth of skills within our large team to help you to develop your career, pursue areas of interest and take advantage of the opportunities we offer.  With truly local control we intend to keep the best of traditional patient centred Primary Care with all the benefits of a larger organisation.  Most importantly for you, we have extensive experience in providing a supportive environment for ACP’S as part of our diverse clinical team.  

About this Role

To provide care for the presenting patient and demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within general practice. Diagnose and treat patients who present with minor ailments and minor injuries, supported by GPs, advanced nurse practitioners and other members of the nursing team. Attend urgent home visits. The advanced clinical practitioner will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients and support the delivery of policy and procedures. They will have the ability to prioritise and make any necessary referrals for investigations in the appropriate manner and be flexible and responsive to patient needs.

About You

You will have a relevant qualification at Degree Level or equivalent as well as having up to date membership of a relevant professional register.

Post qualification experience is essential to this role.

Experience of working in primary care would be welcome but we are also interested in hearing from candidates with appropriate experience in other healthcare settings.

Clinical Pharmacist

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

About this Role

We are recruiting for a Clinical Pharmacist, who acts within their professional boundaries, supporting and working alongside a team of pharmacists within general practice. In this role they will be supported by a senior clinical pharmacist who will develop, manage and mentor them.

The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a patient-facing role. The post holder will take responsibility for areas of chronic disease management within the practice and undertake clinical medication reviews to proactively manage patients with complex polypharmacy.

About You

You will have a relevant qualification at Masters Level or equivalent as well as having professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience is essential to this role.

Experience of working in primary care would be welcome but we are also interested in hearing from candidates with appropriate experience in other healthcare settings.
